According to the Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, the European Parliament (EP) campaign of the left-wing liberal side is making false claims.

Speaking on Hungarian M1 television’s Wednesday morning current affairs program, György Bakondi said that as we approach the EP elections, we are hearing increasingly often from Western Europe that migration has come to an end, whereas this is untrue. ”The conspiracy of silence with relation to the migrating crisis is aimed at reassuring, desensitising and influencing the people of Western Europe”, he added.

“Western politics is not thinking about providing assistance on site, but about ‘some kind of murky European solution’ in which solidarity is aimed not at assisting source countries, but at portraying migration in a good light”, he said.

With relation to the migration pressure currently being applied to Europe, Mr. Bakondi said the problem is real in view of the fact that 12 Iraqi and Syrian illegal immigrants recently tried to cross the Hungarian-Romanian border, and 85 people were rescued from a raft off the coast of Malta just a few days ago.
