Sándor Pintér plans to begin his fourth term as Minister of Interior with unchanged goals, including continuing to strive to protect Hungary’s culture and national sovereignty, and maintaining order and security, the current Minister said on Monday at his hearing before a joint meeting of Parliament’s National Defence and National Security committees in Budapest.
Today security is the most important communal value, and for the government the security of the Hungarian people is the top priority, the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Interior Ministry stressed on Friday at the ceremony held in Budapest on the occasion of the Day of the Police and the Fire Brigade.
“If ‘Soros’s candidates’ come to power on 8 April, they will turn Hungary into an immigrant country and that will mean the end of security as we know it”, the Ministry of Justice’s Parliamentary State Secretary declared in a telephone statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Friday.
Without Macedonia’s efforts Hungary would be in a much more difficult situation regarding the protection of its southern borders, Interior Minister Sándor Pintér stated after he signed an agreement on police cooperation between the two states with his Macedonian counterpart.
“Hungarians still have to fight for their freedom, for solidarity and for security today. Today, the message of 15 March is still that the Hungarians want to decide on their own future, about everything that determines the fate of their children and grandchildren”, Deputy Interior Minister and Parliamentary State Secretary Károly Kontrát said in his speech at the Ministry of Interior’s commemoration to mark our national holiday.
An informal meeting of the European Union’s ministers of interior and justice was held in Sofia on 25-26 January 2018. On the interior day of the meeting, the Hungarian delegation was led by Minister of interior Dr. Sándor Pintér.
No one, including those having been granted international protection, can get away with committing crimes. They are expelled from the country or are imprisoned.
In contrast to fake reports released in the press, the Government of Hungary and the Ministry of Interior do not provide housing for those granted international protection and asylum seekers in Hungary.
“The Government has prepared another legislative package to combat illegal immigration; the proposed bill, which will be put forward for social debate, would require the supporters of illegal migration to disclose data and place a 25 percent duty on the funding they receive from abroad, in addition to which it would enable citizens who organise immigration to be served with newly introduced immigration restraining orders”, Minister of Interior Sándor Pintér said at his press conference in the recess of Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting. Government Spokesperson Zoltan Kovács called the proposed legislative package the “Stop Soros” bill.
Security will be the chief value in Europe in 2018, and also for the Hungarian Government the Hungarian people’s security will be the top priority, Károly Kontrát, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Interior said at his press conference which he held jointly with Tamás Vargha, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence.
