“The Government of Hungary pursues a policy of zero tolerance regarding anti-Semitism. The actions and decisions of my government leave no doubt as to the fact that the Hungarian Government feels responsible for its citizens of Jewish origin, and ensures their security. You and your organisation can count on this clear Hungarian government policy in the future as well”, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wrote in a letter of reply to the President of the World Jewish Congress. A copy of the letter was provided by to Hungarian news agency MTI by the Prime Minister’s Press Chief, Bertalan Havasi.
