“Viktor Orbán supports the Czech Prime Minister’s migration proposal”, Chief Security Advisor György Bakondi said on Hungarian M1 television’s Saturday evening current affairs program.

According to the plan put forward by Andrej Babiš, Greece, Italy, Malta and Spain must clearly declare that they will not admit refugees, following which negotiations must begin with Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Egypt concerning the fact that they will stop migration at their borders.

“We need an Africa plan for every single country from which migrants are arriving. These are economic migrants, not refugees who are fleeing war”, the Czech Prime Minister said.

With relation to the plan, Mr. Bakondi said on Saturday: “In 2015, Hungary already proved that the green borders can be closed. If we also succeed in closing the maritime borders, then migration will lose its purpose. Illegal migrants who are in Europe unlawfully can then be transported home, but the first step is the closing of the EU’s external borders and stopping migration.”

“The fault line in Europe today is between the political force that support migration and those who reject it and regard the security of Europe’s population as more important, and this is also the determining factor in the EP election campaign. This is a battle that every country must fight”, the Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister said.
